The apartment is a stone's throw from the Halifax town centre and has its own free dedicated parking space provided. Halifax is not only world famous for its Grade 1 listed Piece Hall seen in many TV series such as BBC Antiques Road show but also the series Gentleman Jack the adaptation from the BBC of Anne Listers life at Shibden Hall a short drive away and easy walk from the apartment. The Hall is set in beautiful parkland and has become an international tourist destination.

Halifax reflects the prosperity of its it's illustrious past for manufacture with its mills and buildings built by wealthy Victorian magnates. Dean Clough Mills, that once housed Crossleys, the world's largest carpet-making empire, even supplying luxury woollen carpets to the royal family until its demise in the 1980's. The Italian colonnaded 17th century Piece Hall where woollen merchants once sold their cloth is regarded as an architectural masterpiece, designed by Sir Charles Barry, architect of the Houses of Parliament.
